It’s painless and you can even have temporary teeth delivered on the same day. Once the implant heals to the surrounding bone and gum tissue, it is ready for your dentist to restore. The time frame depends on the quality and quantity of the bone at placement and can range anywhere from 6 weeks to 8 months.

After your implant procedure, bed rest is recommended for one day and limited physical activity for 2-3 days to allow the gum to heal and minimize bleeding. You may feel sore, in the area where the implant is placed, for a few days. Pain is not usually reported by our patients. Following post operative instructions is critical for success and for a positive experience.
